We have partnered with the University of Canterbury Student Association and Ilam Dental to deliver a subsidised dental scheme for UC students.
The UCSA team release 30 vouchers at 8:30am on Monday mornings throughout the year. (Due to popularity these usually disappear quickly within 15 minutes)
The voucher allows the student to book a 30 minute checkup appointment with a quick clean and xrays for an agreed cost of $40 to the student.
A treatment plan will be created and any further work required that can be provided through the dentist has 75% cover from the UCSA up to a capped amount.
If further work is required above the inital cap, there are avenues for potential funding through UCSA or the MSD / studylink community services card scheme.
